About Us
Sarah Babcock and Sarah Browning met in March of 2010 at local Family Video. They simultaneously reached for the six hour PBS documentary called 'Circus'. The documentary follows the "legendary Big Apple Circus on an unforgettable journey from the big top to the "back lot," where nail-biting drama unfolds both high in the air and down on the ground and the real heart of the circus beats". Totally awesome documentary.
I digress... Sarah Squared (as they have been creatively named) made an instant connection and soon they realized that they shared the same intense love of the circus, books, vintage maps, and American reality TV series Tabatha's Salon Takeover on Bravo. The more they talked, the more they learned that they also shared a deep passion for art and "arty looking things". Turned out photography was the mod podge that glued them together.
Although their photography backgrounds differ their vision is very much the same; to create works of art through a photographic medium. Sarah Squared is endlessly inspired to capturing the true essence of a human being... which usually includes kids picking their noses.
